The " TAX ME HARDER DADDY " voting crowd
Your pissing up a rope. The vote is over , done deal, 63.3% to 36.7% . Go to your county/city commission meetings and raise hell with them. There are two Minnesota's Urban and Rural ND is getting to be the same way. Leave us farm boys out of your bad decisions.

Homestead credit is the only property tax exemption I have ever qualified for.
Since you are so worried about the funding from property tax in your area you do have the choice to not apply for the credit and pay your full tax balance instead of having other cover the shortfall from your credit. I bet you don’t or won’t.

How many of you guys have ran for office to try and implement the changes you desire? It's a very valid question because it's extremely easy to just sit on the side lines and complain about the way things should be done and not take any action to try and fix the issues yourself. And save your "There is no way I would get elected so why even try" response.

Lincoln, kinda...
Running around and calling people stupid is not usually a strategically sound method to convert those who obviously far outnumbered the proponents of this measure.

It's a bold strategy, Cotton....let's see if it pays off for them.
