Since you are so worried about the funding from property tax in your area you do have the choice to not apply for the credit and pay your full tax balance instead of having other cover the shortfall from your credit. I bet you don’t or won’t.

It's a very valid question because it's extremely easy to just sit on the side lines and complain about the way things should be done and not take any action to try and fix the issues yourself. In my case this was a common sense decision . A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush. You vote for you and I'll vote for me, leave us rural residents out of your urban problems.
