Amen... skin cancer is a plague due to our "meh" attitude back in the day. Wish I would have taken better care prior to 30 years old.

Ive decieded to 86 the sun. I hate sunscreen so I have invested in the long sleeve "fishing shirts" and even some face shields. I cooked myself on the kayak last year and have a few new freckles to show for it. When it got visibly permanent I said to hell with "suns out guns out".

wore a short sleeve shirt on the boat for the first time this year. Arms are still burnt. I like my long-sleeved fishing shirts. Huk will continue to drain my account.

I'm changing the subject, but that fair-skinned kid needs lots of sunscreen or sunscreen clothes, and a hat with a brim, not a feed & seed cap. A grade school classmate of mine died from skin cancer in his early 50's.

I assure assure you he gets plenty of sunblock every time we go out, at least once an hour. His momma would tan my hide if he came back burnt and rightfully so!!
