Let the knock off competition begin, Ha ha taking preorderes only, none to sell. looking at the pics they are about an identical yeti Knockoff.

https://www.rticcoolers.com/

So far I am to cheap to buy a yeti and haven't had a need for one yet, but have looked at those RTIC coolers and if I remember right they have been available for pre-order for quite some time seems a little sketchy

After some heavy duty hints, circling a cooler in the Cabela's add with a sharpie stating "this is the only thing we need (see what I did there?) for fathers day", and purposely damaging my old cooler while saying "This thing is f-ing shot, now what are we going to do?!" I was pleasantly surprised with the Cabelas 40 qt. Polar Cap cooler for father day . I must admit that I am pleasantly surprised. If anything, this looks overly built. It holds 30+ beers, plus 6 of Mrs.Thriller's tuity fruity sissy drinks with ample ice. I've had it set up since Saturday and the only thing that has depleted so far is the Old Milwaukee's Best Light. Any of you folks out there that need an additional cooler that is better than a Yeti (I actually cant back that up), I would strongly suggest you give this a look. For $250 plus free shipping, you have my worthless guarantee you wont be disappointed.

Heard about a guy that found one on HWY 83 a month or so ago that had fallen out of a pickup and left some nasty gouges in the pave. He tried to load it but it was too heavy to lift , By the time he got back it was already gone but there were already frost advisories out for that area and the highway was slick for a mile in each direction.

I believe rtic is being sued by yeti, and that's the reason you don't see them all over the place.

i was surprised on thursday night with an early fathers day present as well - a yeti hopper 40... thought, well ok, thanks, but not really excited about it as some of the reviews i've read on the hoppers have been pretty neutral on the performance...

stopped at the roadside bulk ice vending machine on the way out of town at 4pm friday and filled the coolers for the weekend (this one room temp)... put 40#'s of bulk wet ice and about 8 cool beers in it and headed for dl... had ice cold beers at camp after fishing that night... left that cooler in the back seat till we broke camp bout noon yesterday, checking it a couple times per day, and threw it under the roll cover for the ride home with some beer still in it... got home last night and brought it in the garage and checked it... still lots of ice along with water... got home after work tonight and am drinking ice cold beer out of it still... would guess there is bout 10# of ice left inside along with the water... 3 days and counting, starting with dripping wet ice...

this thing has really impressed me so far, way better than i was expecting...

After hearing people i know go on about the yeti tumblers I wanted one. I happened to see a facebook video camparing the yeti versus the rtic tumbler. The rtic tumbler is half the price. So Im on amazon looking for rtic and came across walmarts ozark trails yeti knockoff. Looks the same and the 30 oz is a whopping $10. It is plenty awesome for me, a mixed drink thats drinken down to the ice in the evening and left outside on the picnic table still had ice in it the next afternoon. And i can buy 5 of them for the price of one yeti.

Just had ice in if you would have spent the money and bought the yeti it would have looked like this in the morning.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but how is your ice maker working? Think you bought a Dometic? We are looking at the small one but thought i would check with you first and see if it works and is still working.
Thanks!
