Yikes , I haven't watched the news for a few days but early on Reading between the lines it sounded like responders found something very disturbing so nothing is impossible.

just a week or so ago I read a news article that mentioned that someone arrested in a drug bust had ties to the mexican mafia so they are amungus and have been since the big boom.

I don’t remember how many years ago but quite a few now that the Cooperstown guy got his head chopped off. Speaking of Mexican mafia.

There are plenty of members of national crime syndicates running around ND. And foreign ones. My son's a cop here in Williston and you don't want to know half the shit going on in your communities. 90% of the shit that goes down is never brought to light here.

Lot of random stupid stuff going on too. The 5 or so that happen last year in little minne -- none of them were organized crime -- most were just plain stupid shit. People are just getting more unpredictable --- we need to get tough on crime --- - go back to some type of punishment -- cold wet jail floors, hands cut off, shock treatments, death penalty that gets done quickly, public hangings -- i might be a little extreme --- i kknow that thread existed for prison rehab -- maybe one chance --- after that get the job done as hank jr they will hang quickly.

But let's let everyone in through the borders and let everybody on drug crimes out of the prisons.. Brilliant!

As long as your balls don’t touch your safe. It was decided on Jason Ellis show a few years back

I've been away from a computer for a day or two. Thank God I can rely on you guys to not miss the small clues he laid down, about the possible three way. I've read and re-read it, and I too don't see where he said it was two females.

I was going to jump all over it, but after continuing reading the posts, I see you guys have it covered.

(smugly crossed arms and nods)

Good work..

There’s was a news article this morning about police chaplains providing emotional support for officers on the scene. The chaplain they interviewed said something about “not being able to unsee things.” This lends credence to the suspicion that the crime scene was a grizzly one. That BCI has set up a tip line and no suspects have been named after several days suggests that they’re not going to solve this one anytime soon, if at all. Damn.

My money is on cartel hit. This is just real sad.

Just curious why the organized crime/cartel comments? Are there other rumors/ties that give credence to such statements? Or only because of the nature they were killed?

I believe the reason for the cartel/mafia comments are coming from the fact that the grizzlyness of the crime is a trademark of Mexican gangs. Decapitation being one of those. Of course nobody knows except the police.

A little birdy once told me that the one thing the Bismarck PD doesn’t talk about to the public is gang activity. I’m assuming to keep the public from loosing thier sh*t if they knew the half of what’s happening in their “peaceful” city. This was probably six to seven years ago this birdy told me this.

Go into Mandan Walmart at about 5:30pm and tell me things haven’t changed in our little city? Not saying that’s where the gang bangers hang, but you get the picture.

I'm still putting my money on a pissed off ex renter or employee. The cartel thing just seems a little far fetched to me especially considering the victims are 4 middle aged people. Even if the owner or the other guy were involved with that kind of stuff, i think they would have just taken them out, not 4 people at a business, that just brings way to much heat from law enforcement.

1. There’s a reason the FBI opened an office in Williston a few years ago. Organized crime out west is rampant.
2. With organized crime, shell companies are often used to launder money. We haven’t heard A SINGLE WORD about the spouse of the slain owner. I wonder if she knows something and is being protected.
3. Grizzly murders of multiple people.
4. Targeted murders + no suspects = required planning. It’s as though the person or people who committed the crimes knew what they were doing and know how to evade police detection.

How many stories of a
pissed off renter/employee
in ND have we heard like this? New York, Boston, CA, ya maybe. ND = not so much. If you think Cartel members would just take someone out without sending a message you're batshit crazy. I have no idea what happened, but if some of the internet's gossip/rumors are true, it's probably not a pissed off renter/employee.

a friend just made the point: what if they found something heinous (like drugs or a body) in a rental unit, so the perpetrators killed any witnesses before it could be reported? Holy crap...

They probably found something in one of the units that was drug related and probably reported it to the authorities. The gang took them out and made an example of them. This is even more concerning that they have not released those related details. There is no way this was a ordinary former renter or former employee otherwise they would have a suspect by now. Just another reason to mind your own business when it comes to these organized crime gangs.

Who says they reported it? Maybe they didn’t...

It's not a pissed off renter, I'd bet the farm on that one. It's something else, not sure what.
